I'd like to see a Speedster version. Convertible with a cut down windscreen. The open front fenders with chrome wheels with chrome moon hubcaps. I'd have mine in black with brass insignias and Super 55 on the back (as for any of you old Porsche guys remember the Super 60 and Super 90, the number...
They will never need stores. With the 65k on the road, they will sell themselves. Overstock will process the orders and within a day or two, the Elio will be in your driveway.
You are mistaking what the debt is. It's no different if you started a business and borrowed $10M. Even though you are making the payments, you are in debt $10M minus whatever payments you have made. As long as you make the payments (i.e. loan, payroll, lease, loan...) you look just fine. Case...
It makes perfect sense to me. Before the stock sale to Overstock, they were not looking good. With the 2.5M, they will be able to pay two of the three sources of debt. That would be catching up on the loan payments (for the equipment) and lease payments (for the building). On;y other thing left...
The 1-U is not the filing you are looking for. It's only covering the sale of the stock to Overstock. Typically, if you do not do you SEC filing, you get dropped to Pinks. Only time will tell.
It might not just be the next big thing but the next megatrend. These articles explain a bit about security tokens.

Looks like Overstock is already chipping away at the amount needed to get the Elio to production:

It's good to see Elio finally addressing the financing options for the Elio but they forgot about the accredited investor that can buy the Eliocoin. I want to hear more about that in a blog. I'm accredited and curious..........
People still buy them but the bulk are fleet sales. The numbers keep going down. If you want to see a good example, just look at VW. They are having record sales numbers even though they polluted up the US with those cheater diesels and the company was to go out of business. Want to know how...
I can't stress this enough, please go to China and live there for at least 5 months. China is way ahead of the US when it comes to alternative energy and working hard to stop relying on oil. No matter what i say doesn't matter because you need to see it for yourself.
The world has plenty of cheap practical vehicles. Those are sold to third world countries. As for the US we are not, thus the reason why people don't buy practical cheap cars in droves. They but they buy what they want.
Ford knows something that others don’t. If 10 years ago you asked anyone if they would buy a twin turbo aluminum pickup, they would have laughed you out of the bar. Honestly, most people don’t care where a car is made plus most could care less about sedans. There is a niche that does and Elio...
Makes sense. I seen Willie Nelson at Farm Aid 2 years ago and he was to have died something like 20 times but he was up there singing away. Neil Young looks like he should be dead but man he does a great live show.
Neil Young does have this:
