All I know is, I'm glad I have a low number. I think I'm ~6 weeks into production. So while all your "suckers" are waiting, I'll be enjoying my 84mpg.

They've also mentioned that they have interest in a large fleet sale overseas (Dubai for one, another in UK) but those are on hold until they work out how they would do international sales; so those are at the bottom of the pile (for now). They are still working on certain parts of this country to get the sales problems worked out.

These may be the foreign countries I refered to in my post. Dubai has auto racing. Roush would be used to prep them.

The factory is fully tooled from building Hummeds. Elio owns all the equipment. It'll have to be recalibrated, of course but it's all there.

I can't imagine it being as easy as all that.

I think that "building" the precision line to produce Elios is almost comparable to building the production ready prototype itself.

I would think that much of that equipment is going to have to be modified to the point of almost having to be rebuilt.
After all, it's got to build Elios with absolute precision and be durable enough to last a long time under heavy use.
Unless we're all going to be driving around in vehicles that look like miniature 3-wheeled Hummers that is.

I should have explained..... It seems that whatever date they say something will be completed it never happens. .

May I remind you of the the difference between, .... "will" and "target" or "hope to begin by..." Yes, "time" is an issue, for all of us. EM is not immune to time issues either. From the frustration I sense in your recent posts, It seems that time is indeed an issue for you. I am sorry you weren't born 10 years later. But, time waits for no man.
