The article does mention and confirm what was speculated. That RACER has given Elio an extention to start hiring and producing. That is the good news.

Totally agree. But whatever the reason is, Elio is dead without the extension.

since they did get the extension, they are still alive .... the next few months will tell

And neither one of those is something we should concern ourselves with.
We can maybe bring someone up to speed, but if they have extra money and want to buy a spot in line, it's none of anyone else's business.
