I hope the production development team is off to a quick start right along with the Government Affairs Team!

the Government Affairs Team is wide open, the Tour Team is headed to Vegas, the Development Team is said to be directly involved with the engine .... Christmas may be over but it appears the Elves are all still hard at it .. :D

Hoping will cost you $1000.00 non refundable, all others are wishing.
I hope to own an Elio! Hope is used for possible situations that we desire.....past, present, future.

Wish not so much.

Also, nobody will be saying, "I wish I hadn't put down a non-refundable reservation deposit" as they drive their Elio's off into the sunset.

If all goes as anticipated and production starts in the 4th quarter, will that make the model year of the first vehicles 2016? also has anyone in this forum driven the prototype? I am especially interested in the performance of the automatic transmission.

unknown on the year designation but 2016 would seem reasonable .... so far as I've heard, a reporter or two, the FOX morning crew, Jerome and a handful of others have driven the P4 .... I've heard they were asked to keep the speed under 35 mph but can't confirm that .... I don't know that the transmission in the P4 is the same as the the one that will be used in production .... last time I heard, they hope to have one or two test drive teams moving around the country by the end of the year

Many years ago I won a Honda Gold Wing in a poker game, it had Hondamatic tranny. Very smooth shifting and was obviously designed for a 1000cc bike. Since the engine is to be 900cc in the Elio, I wonder if they can use a bike automatic which is usually 2 or 3 speeds.
