2016 Manhattan Test Drive

I was looking for images of the different prototypes and came across this report with a test drive video.

They mention funding is needed to begin production in 2017. What prototype version is used here? They also mention test track use. At the end, the left fender comes off. Ouch!

The red one was the P5.

P1: Open frame, possibly turned into the P2?
P2: Green
P3: Silver
P4: Orange
P5: Red

E1A: White, continental ABS testing
E1B: Frame only, integration test car?
E1C: Black, tour/show car
E1D: Orange, RedDot HVAC testing

The E1A was white and went to Continental for ABS testing, and possibly traction control? I seem to remember they were looking at something else along with ABS.

I do not think they ever showed us the E1B other than the frame, but since it was an integration test car it might not have made it past that stage. You can see it in the background in this picture, behind the shrouded E1A:

The E1C was the black show car which we all know and love, LOL

The E1D was orange and went to RedDot for HVAC testing.

The White E went to Conti for testing
The Orange E went to Red Dot for testing
The Black E is pictured 90% of the time driving around or parked in some neighborhood and used for pop-up shows.

As for that, I can't think of any other info on what they have done with them. I assume it's nothing as the SEC gag order came down before they went public and it obviously does not cover engineering updates to the car.
