About One Year Away

Unless I missed something, production should begin near or about December 2015. It's been a fun and tedious wait. Hope all the necessary ducks are in a row and we can start the final countdown. I know this is wishful thinking but I ask Santa for my 2015 Elio and he has never let me down. Merry Christmas to all.

Unless I missed it when did it change from 3rd qrtr (Sep) 2015. I have not seen any official Elio message or statement changing the date.

Yeah, unfortunately there are so many variables, some out of Elio Motors' control, that it's even hard for them to know when production will start. Engine testing, ATVM loan (which would accelerate things, not kill things) are examples of two things that are just hard to put a time length on. Expect the worst, hope for the best.

I think December is very realistic, but again, who knows. September is a slight possibility, that's been a stated goal.

I was under the impression the fourth quarter of 2015 was realistic. Got to have a viable plan.

Darn, so much for 2015! What are we to do,? with thousands of posts on so many topics,- more posts than reservations on some others, it will be for me a VERY sloooow year! My concern the farther ahead it keeps getting pushed, the less support and interest (aside from us the faithful) it will generate, the nay sayers will feast

Jeff, and goofy was to whom I was addressing my comments, and I do believe, some of which their mentioned comments, have information that later becomes public, might be very wrong, but not the vibe I get.

I'm not aware of any "official" change in date, but I'm betting on mid-to-late 4th quarter 2015. And I wanted my Elio for Christmas. I think it's more likely to celebrate Ground Hog Day 2016.

And still not one peep from those wonderful folks with their magic dynamometer ....
