Wish elio would receive payments, would be nice to pay down balance while waiting for my auto cycle to be built? Any thoughts? Sure a separate account at my bank would work, the drawback being it would be too easy to tap!

Take out an envelope, write, My New Elio on it and put something in it each month.
If you don't have the discipline it takes to keep your fingers out, try having an extra $100 taken out of your check each pay day, collect it back when you do your taxes, and make one extra large payment each Feb. JMO

I did the savings account thing. Everything over $XXX goes into my Elio account.
