Are All Those P4s Actually Road-worthy?

Those are computer generated to show the different colors. Elio has been up front about only having the Rocket Silver P3 and the Creamsicle P4 on the road.... soon though...

They also had a sour apple green P2. The P1 was the skeleton and innards - no skin. :-) Z
Hey Tex. There are only a couple prototypes, but if you watch all the driving videos, It looks like it has a lot of front end "bouncing" going on. I hope they get that straightened out before production.

Think there is but ONE P4 out there. Hopefully we will see a dozen or so P5's. . . . . . when and if they ever come out.

P1 is P2. the skinless frame got one and became the P2. So only 3 different prototypes exist currently.

If things are on track, the various pre-production test vehicles are now being built -- the external geometry of the engine is known, so there's no need to wait until the end of engine testing to start building those. I'm not sure if their stalking-horse prototype (the not-for-public-view) P5 is being built or whether they're skipping it and going straight to the pre-production cars (some advantages each way). They need to get the P5 or a pre-production car done because they need to start setting up the plant machinery pronto, and the final manufacturing specs will be derived from that car.
Paul is more driven by do-it-right than by do-it-now, but even he must be scenting the finish line, and with it, some pressure to get a car with an engine in it rolling -- if only rolling around the vast parking lots of the Shreveport plant! Meanwhile -- not one word on the dyno testing that is supposed to be happening now.

It will be a ready-made; I think the issue is cost and desire to work with American-made products wherever possible.
