Broke My Hand Being Cool Dad

Tuesday night, took my younger two Skating at the rink.

I go inline...they go quads. I fell twice. First time crotch rip my jeans.

Second time, wound up breaking my hand. Triquetrum bone to be exact.

Dominant left hand from wrist to pinky finer nearly. A hard one to break. Doc never saw one broken before.

Soo..home in soft cast till Tuesday then hard cast for 4-6 weeks

Sorry to hear about that. Had to look up the bone you mentioned, and it does look like an odd one to get broken. I guess the 'bright side' is that there wasn't an injury during the "crotch rip" fall [OUCH! Been there, done that skiing] .

Heal fast, brother!

Yea i was lucky no groin injuries.
The kids are waiting to sign my cast. What sucks is it pinewood derby car season had to get the other Dads help me get started.

If I recall correctly, you're going to WISH is was a 'numb blob' the day they take the cast off. Nothing like moving joints that have been immobilized for 6 weeks.

Yeah, two broken arms
& a collar bone, I get it...
