Why not just go public now. He would still be the ceo of the company. and they could probably raise 300 to 500 million on wall street.
Think of the value of a start-up like an exponential curve - as the company makes progress and achieves perceived milestones, the value climbs exponentially.

A start-up only gets one opportunity for an IPO. Too early on the exponential value curve (fewer milestones achieved, a lot of risk until product launch) and potential new investors get in at a very low price (risk vs reward keeps share prices very low), the company gets only minimal money from the offering, and early investors see the company's continual value climb benefiting the new investors at their expense.

In truth, IPOs are much less about raising capital than they are about rewarding early investors with an opportunity to take some cash out.

I dreamed of sleeping with her when I was a kid. Things didnt go to plan.

Starting a car company is more realistic than getting a very specific and hard to get girl. Further more if u do succeed in making $ you can have a better dream girl too. Women love men with money

Buyout Before Bk??
Doubt it.:)
Geez, guys. I don't visit the forum for ONE day and when I come back, I am finding all of this talk about Elio Motors not coming to market. . . . , or maybe being bought out?

What's happening? WHAT happened in the last 24 hours to bring us to this very intense and serious discussion?

Please, someone; YOU, Z; fill me in and bring me up to speed. o_O

New members who know better than everyone including EM, what will work. It has happened before, it will happen again. Ignore is a good option. :-) Z
