Car Wash?

I was wondering, will you be able to take the Elio through an automatic car wash? Or will the sides of the car not get scrubbed? I'm not sure how exactly automatic car washes measure the car they are washing, if it is by laser measurement, electric eye, etc., and how it would deal with a narrow car like the Elio, with the two front wheels being wider.

Might be a manual car wash job?

There is another thread where we discussed this, take a look at the search button in the upper right, try typing in double quotes and 'car wash' and double quotes again, see if it gives you some hits.

We got a few "Touchless" type car washes out here that just use high-pressure sprayers. They might get it done. I'll probably be washing mine by hand.

I think most of us will hand wash it. A bucket of water, rag, and a towel and 5 minutes should be all it takes.
