Tulsa has a good chance of going to Independence bowl in Shreveport. Would be nice as I have never been there. I might be able to get a pic of plant where my Elio will be built next year. I will have to be accompanied with my TomTom to make my trip smooth. Also we have a chance for Dallas or Hawaii. Hawaii trip would be great for the players, but is one I can not make. If Dallas, then definitely I will need TomTom.

College Fb Bowl Games

I was in Sam's Club Sunday and I bought a good winter coat as I froze out at Navy game here. I was hoping Tulsa would go to a close bowl game and it could be cold. Got home and wife asked which bowl we received. I said I bought a new coat, so we are probably are going to Hawaii. She checked her tablet and said Shreveport. Wohoo! We get to go to a bowl and I hope to get a picture of in-active Elio plant. Plus also a dry run getting home from Shreveport.

I went to watch TU play in the 1989 Independence Bowl. A cold front came through the day of the game and it was bone chilling. One the coldest I ever remember being
I am getting ready for road trip tomorrow to Shreveport/Bossier. Looks like 90% rain tomorrow, 50% rain Saturday(Gameday), and 80% rain on Sunday. Taking my rubber shoes and rain-proof jacket. Temps are to be in 70s-60s, so I won't need the new winter coat I bought. I am hoping to get a picture of Elio Plant on Sunday.
I made it to Bossier City. We had a great stay at Comfort Suites. Our football team played their hearts out in Independence bowl, but could not pull off a win. They are all winners to me. I did visit the inactive Elio plant(outside). It is Huge!!!! I took some pictures from the gate. don't know how good until I unload them from camera(I will try to post later). We had a nice trip down to the bowl, but the return trip was a nightmare. Left on Sunday, and about 40 miles out of Paris, Texas the highway was closed due to high water. The detour was long and arduous due to heavy rain. Hopefully when I pick up my Blue Elio late next year, the trip home will be easier. Spouse talked about driving down so I may not need a taxi.

I thought there was some company who was suppose to build something (un-related to automotive building) there? Did they change there mind?
I hope late next year to watch my Blue Elio being assembled and a very active plant. The locals that I talked either were negative(misinformation) about Elio or had not heard of it.
