The best laid plans......My Subaru died ($5300 repair quote), so now I will have 2 small fuel efficient cars.
Meet the new member of the family. It's an Italian Chrysler made in Mexico, what could go wrong?

After 400 miles, I am averaging 36.4 MPG, not an Elio, but not bad. My fuel savings wont be as pronounced, but it will have to do for now..

Nice looking vehicle Bowers. Is it a Fiat 500? Relatively speaking, how is it to insure... more than you expected or less?

Yes, it's a Fiat 500 Sport
It's almost about $1000 more a year, but that's because it's fully covered and the Subaru had only liability coverage.

How about a flicker of a flame above the headlights.....maybe a little vinyl realflame that could be peeled off if she goes crazy after seeing it. She may love the little detailing.......not. Looks like a fun ride!
