Not a "dissertation" but a point.
The point is, the Elio team knows what they are doing.
Any evidence to the contrary?

If it were up to this message board to design the Elio it would definitely be the design by committee problem where we have way too many people giving input and who knows how long it would take and what the final product would look like and cost.

Elio Motors does not have appear to have this issue as Paul and his team do appear to be focused and working hard on getting this vehicle to be as useful as it can be yet still being designed within their stated four goals.

Consider too, that the Elio has evolved since 2008 with various finance scenarios & factory location possibilities.
From all appearances the team/& concept has has coalesced quite well, had some hurdles to overcome, etc.
& is headed toward production. I think the July 'testing' of the motor/trans/body will tell the tale...........
