Navdy seems like a step backwards compared to my simple Droid Turbo and windshield mount. I don't even have to take my hand off the wheel to activate it. I can just say "Beam me up, Scotty" and it comes on. I get that it's a simple heads up display that uses your phone to display the information and a little projector to project it but that seems really expensive for what is basically what my phone already does minus the display. Buying a Navdy does absolutely nothing that I can't already do and that whole "can't focus on your phone and the road" line is complete crap. We refocus to see our speedometers and basically anything. I can't see how having a very basic version of "Waze" or "Google Maps" is better than having the real versions.

It also has "gesture sensors" so you can do a hand motion to change function and it appears that your smartphone is the "brain" for the unit.
You have to put your smartphone in the holder/socket on it's side and the majority of operational features are those from your phone.

I also thought it was over priced for what it does; but to each his own.
