Is there anyone else that might consider hiring a driver to bring a new Elio to them ? I live 300 miles from the proposed store site and thought a delivery service would be nice if available and if the whole purchase could be completed from home.

Will have to wait and see how Elio will do things when the time comes.
    Possibilites;
    1. Meeting a car carrier truck in a parking lot near you. Tesla does this.
    2. Elio personal delivering in person. They can ride the bus home.
    3. Elio customer riding to the Elio delivery site, Elio store.
    4. Elio dropped by parachute into customers driveway.

Welcome to the Elio Owners Forum.
You're 300 miles from the closest Retail Center? That seems rather unusual.
But Elio Motors has talked about doing "to your door" delivery on a separate fee added to the normal transportation fee,
They haven't gotten the details or pricing decided on yet; but I'm sure we'll hear about it when all of the I's are dotted and T's crossed.

It is unusual, but after driving the 48 states for many years, I can tell you there are places that are 300 miles away.

#4 is the one I like most. Could possible sent another trend for things to come for all other delivers. Smart bomb technology should make this safe (somewhat) and possible.

But if something goes wrong, might be a little unconformable explaining to a neighbor why your Elio is on there roof.

I'm well aware of "Big Sky Country"; for me it's Full open throttle on I-90 and a $5 bill (or 3) on the dash :becky:

I've done the 200 "jaunt" when I'm in no hurry to get anywhere. ;)

Montana is still one of the states where a motorcycle license is needed.

Elio should partner with Amazon. You can get next day delivery with Prime. ;)

Yes, but if I lived there I would be concerned; if you're not a resident, they will honor the rules from your home state.

Wait, what was the question? Did I answer in the correct format?
I hope this doesn't affect my score. :(
