I'm sure they do, but how fast the workers pick up their jobs, is hard to work into a flow chart. Some of those people will be pros day one some not so much.
absolutely .... they keep saying they will be hiring former GM workers who have assembly line experience .... I'll leave that up to others to speculate on if that is a good or bad thing Jim
hi and welcome. I see you just missed the 3,000th unit and newer owners group. We will each be receiving a special gift. Had you waited just a short time you would have qualified, but with 2,999 that's a very sad place to be. Don't react if others here try to rub your nose in it. Some others might try and say it's not true, but they're only trying to ease your pain!!! (kidding, when I saw your number it made me think of other sad cases of folks just missing an opportunity by one digit) You're in a great place, both online and on line. many with severe knowledge of cars, -others their specialty electronics, and all of us having the same dream of The Elio!!
Qwurpy, welcome to the forum, repository of information about the Elio. Glad you found us. We are a friendly helpful group and we try to keep the forum informative and entertaining. Looking forward to your questions, comments, and opinions. Enjoy the journey and the experience
Thank you all for the warm welcome. @RUCRAYZE, yes, it would have been nice to have the nice round #3000, but I was watching the reservation counter for a few months, and at the rate reservations were/are being made, I could have just as easily been #3001 (or higher!). And, in the end, the only gift I really need is a nice shiny new Elio! Looking forward to spending some time with all of you here in the "waiting room."
