Elio Makes Me Smile

I want an Elio because it makes me smile. Paul has hit a nerve with people who want a fun car that they can afford to own and drive. It is a little bit motorcycle, a little bit airplane, 3/4 car (heck it is almost a jet pack). It is within reach for a College student, and for a retired teacher (Zelio we miss your posts). It is sexy without being sexist. It is green. It is patriotic. It is not perfect, but you can customize it yourself to make it so. But in the end it just makes me smile. We need more affordable smiles. There are way too many non-smiling people around. The Elio looks to be a bright spot in the hopefully not to distant future.

There are so many vanilla cars out there. I've always wanted something different, money is sort of tight, so the Elio jumped out at me and the price knocked me out! This CHERRY RED Elio ice cream is my affordable mid life crisis, toy, and man it still puts a big smile on my face! #5591

There are a lot of logical cars out there, and the ones that are not vanilla cost more than my paycheck will cover. I get a smile riding my motorcycle whenever I can fit in the time. I used to spend time in a Cessna 150 and enjoyed every minute. Nothing quite like either one of those to adjust your attitude and add a little perspective. Makes concerns and problems seem a little more manageable. It is therapy for me, and I need a little therapy. I am not in a hurry to get anywhere because there is a lot to see along the way. There is a a little pizza shop in Keno Yukon, just about 290 km East of Dawson City. I am going to post a picture of my White Elio in front of that Pizza Shop. I will be the one with the Cheese eating grin.

I do understand. I did both the evening rides for therapy and the I50 trips to isolated air strips. I am really needing my Elio to recreate that down-time.

If you are talking about our Political Candidates, I will have to forbear. I am torn between wanting them to keep their hands out of it for fear of ruining the whole thing, but looks like Paul is going to need that loan to get the assembly line running. With Paul's guts and tenacity, maybe we can elect him in 2022. Please don't take this as a start to a political thread. I want to have some place where I can go to be away from the din. I will be voting for sure and following all the speeches, but would rather talk Elio here.
