Elio P5 In Salt Lake

I just got back from seeing the Elio in Salt Lake. It was great to see it in person. The prototype was looking good. The Elgin dash even looked good. We are looking at a real deal. Paul is working the details out. The fenders are attached with longer bolts that will not allow the fender to fall off. The cockpit felt great. Looking forward to putting mine in the garage after a long drive. I will have to see if I can run a tank empty in one day.

I just saw it there too. First time. I saw it posted on FB at about 7:25 PM and raced to get there before closing time at 8. Couldn't believe I was actually sitting in my Red Elio for the first time!

Glad you guys got to see it in person and are excited about getting it. The configurator and fact the price is locked to 7300 sure looks like steps in the right direction. But I'm still concerned where he will get the money to go into production. And how some are so sure it will happen next year without knowing this. But your positive attitude after seeing it is encouraging.

I just pulled into the parking lot a half block south, paid my $6 and walked past the storm trooper and wonder woman. I saw a couple other super heroes along the way too. Just a normal day in Utah.

I just parked 25 feet away from th Elio... In front of the most expensive steakhouse in Utah, "Spencer's." Yeah. That's my MB convert behind Pam and Jerome! LOL!

Jambe, you posted last year sometime that there were 7 all in people on the list in Utah. Do you know how many there are now? Maybe one of the administrators would know too?

I didn't know it was there till 6 pm Saturday and it is a 4 hour drive for me. If I would have found out in the morning I would have been there.

I have secretly been cursing them for not hitting Salt Lake City and when they do I don't go.....(facepalm)
