If Paul gets his way, those with factory pickup we will have those charges waived. Sales and marketing however sees it differently, and even though you pick up your Elio at the factory, delivery charges will apply. It is being delivered to you at the factory.

You all that went all in! You get to pick up your EE's from the factory, and do not have to pay the shipping...what a gift!

You did mention in one of the items that if picked up from the factory Elio will pick up the tab for a 2 night stay in Shreveport and a factory tour when presented with a oneway ticket. I wouldn't feel bad at all to pay the delivery charges as everyone else, for the price of a oneway ticket I get 2 night hotel stay (in a casino??);), a factory tour to watch my Elio being built, and a great excuse to get out of the house for a few days.

Yes Greycat, I did say that. It is what I was told yesterday. Yes, in a casino hotel! They did not say anything about seeing 'YOUR' Elio made though, only a factory tour!

Don't forget... California has some very strange laws with regards to the importation of vehicles purchased in other states. You may very well end up shooting yourself in the foot going this route. Homework is in order.
