Preserve the Delorean and Studebaker by leaving them stock.

EV convert some boring and mundane car.
I'm not talking about taking a running classic and destroying it. I'm talking about saving a non-runner from rusting on somebody's lawn or being scrapped for parts. Breathing life back into the dead. The classics ought to be on the road, not hiding under tarpaulins or confined to the hands of the wealthy purists.

For me I've been a Technician for DeLorean for the last 7 Years out here in California and I must say that that is the Dream right there. the end all be all garage stuffer. right next to the Elio. all I gotta do to it is upgrade it to a stage 2 and then let it roll.

Oh, Lordy!, do I have to pick just one? Wait, this thread does say carSSS. And not even limited to what I can afford? cool.
First I'll state everything David Bowers has to eliminate dupes.
Then I'll just list the first half dozen I find in my local cashes on this PC of favorites, starting with the obvious one. And even including some non-corporeal concepts. These are things I'd find pleasure in maintaining with my own dirty hands.(if I could afford them)
