5 hours up-5 hours back worth the trip!!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words (and we have many of both)
sitting in an Elio is worth thousands of Pictures!!
Impressions
Overall was as "described"
cockpit is perfect, sitting center will be great, seats, legroom, display location and as they say when you are sitting in it it just feels right.
After biking for years (with no rear mirror), I don't see an issue (for me) looking at a camera will only seem like a distraction
two specific observations
the side passenger windows seemed larger in person
on the other side of the coin, the rear legroom, when I (5'-11") sits with a comfortable position ,(I like 10/12 with as little elbow bend) there is VERY little room for rear feet.
If you are purchasing with the intent of two-up touring, before you plan the trailer, you must sit in it.
I would suggest when you take it out to buy pizza, get to mediums The "trunk" doesn't look like it could accommodate a large.
I can't wait!!, got a hint that they (casinos) gonna be setting up an arrangement to comp us if we go there to pick it up. Details to be finalized.
Just an aside- the Mall hours posted for the a.m. (10) is really when the stores open. Not being a maller, didn't know the building itself was open, got to the Elio @9:40- there were 3 others w/tees ahead of me. My point- after just a few minutes the line grew, and I didn't realize the amount of time folks spend in the car. My suggestion is get there as early as possible.
Met great Elio owners there !! my observation was many were gray hairs finished biking, looking for a M C replacement. (me included)
