Lesser door dings since you are farther away from the vehicle beside you.
The Elio is not tiny by any means; it's narrow, but about the size of a Toyota Corolla; there's a picture that shows it next to a Caddy CTX and they're about the same size length and height; and the front track is just as wide, but the Elio is a little less that 1/2 the width.

With a little wiggling, you could put 2 Es in 1 space
