I like the new redesign including the Kammback design. The wheel covers look good in my opinion. I am not to worried about showing off bling bling wheels as the Elio has a different intended purpose. Plus its odd looks is one of its attractions Apparently some more minor aero tweaking will be done before final body design.

Elio truck could be made grab a sawzall and cut up your new 6800$ autocycle

I liked the P3 look much better, I'm going to recreate it as much as I can. I don't care if I lose 10mpg hwy, I don't want my Elio to look like a narrow Prius.

I am sure there will be a thriving aftermarket with plenty of options for replacing both the front fenders and rear wheel covers along with who knows what else. Lucky for us, with the Elio being so inexpensive, there should be plenty of cash left over for customizing it to fit our individual tastes.

I can't wait to go to an Elio rally and see what everyone has done to their autcycles.

I was under the impression from what I thought I read from Elio Motors that I would be able to customize the wheels and fenders direct from Elio before I purchase the car. I'd hate to pay for a bunch of hardware I have no intention of using and then have to spend hundreds (or thousands?) more. I'll be very disappointed if that's not the case. They made a radical change in appearance after many of us put our money down so they REALLY should give us some flexibility in the form of options here.

They have a free pass to change the product as they see fit. We all knew that when we put money down on a mule design with the only priorities (that I care about) being the big 4 as outlined from the start. As long as this car doesn't look like a Pontiac Aztek and get 9 miles to the gallon when done I am not complaining nor should anyone. It's an Elio one size to fit all. Some better than others. As a side note, the addition of the new wheel skirts help reduce drag but they also eliminate the need to budget $1200 for Elio on shiny alloy wheels. Love it. Keep the price fair, and the product reliable. We can take care of the personal touches at the nearest auto zone or chrome shop.

you know? That back end on the EE does have the same profile as an Aztek!
