While driving home the other day, I made some observations:
In the HOV lane, they have diamonds painted in the center of the lane to alert the drivers that they are in a restricted lane. I noticed that, without fail, the cars were not centered in the lane. They were all running with the left tire pretty close to the left yellow line, and the right tire was running over the painted diamond. I don't know why this was. It could be that unconsciously, the drivers are staying away from the traffic and more towards the berm of the road. It just made me wonder about being in the center of the car. If it will be easier to stay in the center of the lane when you are in the center of your car. The diamond should go right under you as you drive.
The things you think about while in traffic...
I commute 130 miles a day and while on the road I try to envision driving in the center of the road with the right door panel as close to me as the left door is. Yeah the things you think about while on the road.

We can form a Dragon's Tail Car Club. The goal of each member would be, using only, braking, cornering, acceleration and with out going over the posted 30mph speed limit, get the fastest time from start to finish on an up and back run.

And hopefully you don't run into an oncoming semi taking up both lanes...

I anticipate the Elio will handle better than the typical reverse trike and as good or better than a compact car........and so much more fun to drive while sitting dead center in Elio's narrow cabin, tooling down the highway while listening to the smooth vocal sounds of Billy Holiday and Blues Legend BB King!

Saying the Elio will handle as well or better than the typical reverse trike already means it will outhandle a compact car...I can't think of a single reverse trike designed vehicle that won't easily outhandle a compact car...
