cornering of a 4 wheel vehicle has always been a problem because of the inside corner wanting to lift up in a hard high speed turn. with only one wheel in the center and a low center of gravity and a wide tire, the cornering ability of a 3 wheeler can be better than a 4 wheeler. i saw a design on line, a few days ago, that had a cornering index of 1.7, compared to elio having .9 g index. if i run across it again, i'll post a link here.
