It's always bothered me that in a post-apocalyptic hellscape where fuel is more valuable than gold that they drive trucks and vehicles with 2 fully blown V8's, fighting for the "juice" while burning it as fast as they could.

I always thought motorcycles, Geo Metros and now Elios would be a better choice.

In a post apocalyptic world, everything modern especially fuel would be all gone in a week(more or less). Something like a big store of it, goes bad inside of a year. After a couple years everyone is walking on, eating and using sand as a weapon. You can't even store bullets all that long -just say'in.
I always think it's funny how the movies show huge use of bullets, all that would be gone in a couple hours using it that way.
On the other hand, if you fool others into thinking you do actually still have bullets and a gun not yet clogged and scored by sand....
