As I had shared with my fellow future Elio owners yesterday, my problem with upgrading my reservation from refundable to a non-refundable one. Well I received an email from Elio today confirming my upgrade. Just to let anyone else that wants to do the same. Elio said it takes about Three to four weeks to see a confirmation from elio of any changes you want to make. Just FYI for anyone out there. So I'm all in now. Just hope they go into production or I will own one hell of a expensive T-shirt !!!!!!!!!'

AW, I'm happy for you Dallas. I believe I saw your post on this and responded at the time. Glad it worked out for ya. OK, Late last night I upped my $100.00 deposit to $1,000 non-refundable. I now have two maxed up. I now have two very expensive T-Shirts. I figure I got the money saved for the first one and hubby has his, so I figured, Heck, free (if everything works out OK) $500.00 is better than a free $50.00) Between the both reservations hubby and I will be saving a thousand bucks or I just pissed away another arm load of egg money. We're all hoping and praying with ya Dallas.

Know how you feel. I think they will build the car. It's a neat idea which time has come. The days of a car company building a car that is expensive and to complicated for anyone to work on are doing to a end. The time for a true peoples car that is cheap on gas and easy to work on time is finally here!!!!! I'm truly excited about this car! Been along long time since I have felt this way about a car. Feels like I'm a teenager waiting to get my first car again. So for now I will ware my $1000 t-shirt

Ya, That's another reason right I did it, I noted (very disappointingly) we haven't had any 'all - in's got their numbers' reports for a very long while. I read the new number will be emailed and that we should be hearing from the new people about the Fourth of July ! (Elio is so later, it's worrisome) So, I should have about the highest number ... or ... be first in the new line up.
Then yesterday, I got cold feet, after jumping off a perfectly good bridge. The Trolls postings, the lateness of the numbers, no active at the plant, what about those government carbon credits? Have we any reports on that lately? What about the Ohio Laws on helmet and licensing progress ?
We are getting a lot of exposure, lots of reservations, lots of press and new reports. Paul Elio is out there like a mad man on Viagra, as charming as butterfly. Heck, They even put an add on MY FACEBOOK FARMVILLE GAME, two weeks in a row !!!! Well, all I got to say about all that is 'Get behind me Satan' and screw off'. I got into this with both feet and I'm staying. I believe in the American Spirit, 90% home grown parts, really made in America ... just like the Toyota, lol. I believe in Paul Elio and his dream. I want that fancy ass vehicle with all the bells and whissels it comes with. And I want two of them.
I wonder how they are going to be delivered? My first is #1,685 and this one will be @#5,000. How many weeks apart is that in production? Will I be able to save on the delivery fee and have them delivered together?

Hang in there my fellow Elio reservist out time is coming!!! I think when history looks back we elio believers will be looked at like the old Dotson 280zx owners are now. We will be the first to own a classic collectors car. I loved the 280zx and it grew to one of the best sports cars ever. Now elio won't be a fast sportster like the 280 was but it will be a new kind of transportation. One ware you get to go a LONG way on a gallon of fuel. Plus you can really work on it yourself and not have to pay someone $45 an hour to fix the thing!! I'm all in and am glad others see the value of this amazing car!
