Every other forum I am on I can set the account to send a note to my email when a selected thread or topic is posted in. I can't figure out how to do that here. Can you point me in the right direction?

Don't do it!
It swamped mine and became a huge hassle. I just swing by every once in a while and check the alerts.BADBOY

I also would suggest you not do that especially if you get notification on your phone. Many like myself post late at night and that could disturb you.

It's very easy, when replying to a thread click the "more options" button. In the options that appear below the reply box you see checked by defualt "watch this thread..." and below that you can choose to check "and receive email notifications"
We're also having trouble with any microsoft related email accounts, such as hotmail, live, outlook, etc. Our emails aren't getting through. Hopefully we'll have it worked out soon.
In their latest email, EM said:
" In recent months, we have heard from fans who would like a change in the way we send emails. We’ve taken your input to heart and will be outlining the changes in the next week or so. Basically, we will be sending out 2 emails a week on a normal week: one on Wednesday and one on Friday. We will occasionally send an additional email when the situation calls for it, and it will always be something important! We will have more information on the change next week."
Supposedly, we were able to determine what type of emails we received. This was one or two years ago. I never noticed any difference.
Now, they will be putting out 2 emails per week, and sometimes 3 emails. Recently, all the significant information could be summarized in 1 email per month. I guess the new rate of emails will be about new options. This is good. Maybe that will put some life back in our discussions.
