624 Miles but some of that is b/c I plan on stopping off in Jackson, Oxford, and Tupelo along the way for some visiting and sightseeing before catching the Natchez Trace from Tupelo to Nashville.

My husband doesn't have much of a commute (5 miles), but he is doing it in an F250 which he needs for farming business. Can you imagine the kids at his middle school when the math teacher gets out of an Elio? In wild and wonderful West Virginia? LOL I think it will be funny.

I imagine it will take him 5 minutes or less with a chalkboard to explain the math behind the elio vs f250. :D

833 miles, one way... family in Shreveport, if I fly in, I should be able to get around easy enough... then, it's a simple, very long drive home... Well, long enough.
See if your kin in LA is willing to set up a small shuttle service for the rest of us that fly in to get the car. $25-30 air port to hotel.

LOL... My father in law actually worked for some limosine service that actually drove vans picking up and dropping off train crews. But, he's retired from that now. I think most of the hotels in the area have a shuttle service from the Airport... surely the hotel/casinos all do. (The riverwalk area is actually quite nice now) It would be nice if Elio would have a shuttle service from the hotel. In fact, if they had some discount agreement with one of the hotels, they could probably have a bunch of people each day staying there - plus, it would be easy to shuttle a group at a time from the hotel to the factory to get a tour and watch your car being assembled. Then, a picture with your new car... Yeah, that's the ticket.
