It's been so long since I went all in, I no longer account for the $1,000, nor the $500, nor the additional 15% ( I don't know how the 15% is calculated), and the base price locked in is another $300 "savings", So I see my base price as a little less than 5.5k. I'm not convinced there is no "dealer fee", perhaps also the transport fee just might be (my guess) a bit low

In shopping for a pickup I saw prices of $1295 for transportation/delivery and doc fees of $395. And etched glass (theft recovery) at $199.

In CT all of the dealers etch the glass, but the customer is not required to pay for it (by law) unless they asked for it.
