If We Had Our Elio ....

more and more, I find myself thinking, if we had our Elio _____ .... example : we run a camping club and on Wednesday we plan to make close to a hundred mile drive to tour 3 campgrounds .... the drive will involve the 2 of us with no luggage (other than my wife's purse which I firmly believe qualifies as an overnight bag ), will cover both interstate and back country two lane roads, and will have at least 4 stops.... if we had our Elio, we would take it without question .... my Mom is in a nursing home 300 miles away and we take a monthly day trip to visit her .... if the quality of the ride is what we hope, I can see us switching to our Elio .... looking forward to the opportunities ....

Cruising down the seawall in Galveston, windows down, Beach Boys, Santana, Mo Town, Boston and Eagles from my Cell. Smiling and waving at all the folks turning to look as I glide on by. Parking for a bit as people leave the beach to swarm my vehicle "what is that? How much does it cost? How many miles per gallon? Is it fast?" I went through this with my Solstice and know it will happen again. Mick Jagger was wrong, I can get satisfaction.

I think the same thing leaving work sometimes. Thinking about the Elio makes me look for it in the parking lot! Too funny...yet...sad and pathetic.
