And Alaska. And Washington DC voted to do so as well, but because Congress has final say on DC law they overturned the voter initiative. It wouldn't surprise me if another half-dozen states have "super cookie" initiatives this November.

It was on the ballot in Ohio last year. The idea itself has wide support. The specific proposal, though, was very poorly written and got soundly defeated, and caused a constitutional amendment to be added to prevent that kind of stupid legislational shenanigans from being tried again.
