Memorial Day

Good morning everyone.

Please take the time this weekend to thank a veteran for his or her service to our freedom. Or remember a member of our armed services that has given their life so we can enjoy this weekend of peace.

Do not take what we have as American citizens for granted.

Thank you dad for your service to our country. I miss you.

Thank you to all here that served, like Ty. I have many friends that served and don't like to get the acknowledgment. They say they don't deserve it. That just shows me how much you all do deserve it. Humility and honor, I am thankful for what each and every one of you sacrificed.

Especially on monday, when they reflect on the ones who died.

Remembering CWO4 Marvin Leonard (my ex's father) who died Feb 15, 1972 while flying a Chinook with a Sling Load in Laos. While some remains of 4 in the back half of the Chinook were recovered about 10 years ago, his body is not recovered, but he is named on a memorial in Arlington.

I remember my dad still everyday. Korea vet. He left this world 18 years ago.
