Motorcycle, Car Or Autocycle?

A while back, "some representatives" of the auto insurance industry were given a demonstration of the P5. The take-away for them was that it was a "Car-minus" (insured as a car, but cheaper due to low cost-of-replacement). As always, this is a general statement, and the actual policies will have to wait until they are on the road.

Here in WA, being a motorcycle means I don't even need to insure it if I don't want to (except what might be required by the lien holder, if I don't have all the cash together by purchase day). But I will carry at least Liability + Uninsured driver protection anyways.

You should get theft also; I know I have to.
Portland is like the car theft capitol of the PNW; and that's because Oregon does a wrist slap penalty if you get caught.

Was that the same demonstration that the Slingshot was invited to? You know, the one where the reps liked the slingshot when it was rubber-side down but not so much when it was rubber-side up. :confused:
