.. the first driver I pulled for was Fireball Roberts .... we were sitting directly across from the wreck at Charlotte where he died .... that day I developed tremendous respect for Ned Jarrett when he waded into the flames and saved Marvin Panch .... I moved on to become a Fred Lorenzen fan .... from watching a young Dale Sr. run the short tracks in central and western NC, I became a 3 fan when he move to the big leagues .... when he was killed at Daytona I migrated to Jr and still pull for him .... now days I pull for which ever Chevy is out front and over the last couple of years I've moved to supporting Danica, mostly because several of my friends pull against her ..
