New Elio Web Site Update

is it just me or does the layout and scheme seem a little more informative. looks like they've added some new info to the page.

Yep, it does have a little more info. They're showing some goodies in the 'features/customization' section!

This particular issue has now been resolved as it is saying about 11,500 now. I think they are still working out some of the kinks in the new site which is to be expected from a major change like this.

From digging through the site they have changed a lot of things and have updated a lot of information. There also appears to be some kinks in the rollout however that is to expected and they do appear to be working on resolving them quickly.

It is a bit of a strange time to be doing such a major update. I bet EM would have liked to have had this done ahead of SEMA but the web designers were likely a bit behind schedule. This makes me wonder if this delay in the new site is part of the reason why the new production numbers did not get released by the end of October as EM told us they were planning.

I'm loving the features shown...finally, something NEW about Elio! If you click on the arrows (<>) on the dashboard pic, you can side scroll through a group of pics. I am curious though...are all these "apps" going to be located in one location on the car or are there going to be separate screens for each item? The way they show the pic, it looks as if there is a single screen and you can click on which "app" you want to look at, i.e. reverse camera, dashboard, GPS, maps, phone call, etc...
Anyone have any ideas, or should I contact Elio on FB and ask?!?

Personally, I would like to see 2 screens...one for a static dashboard, and one for all the available "apps". I don't want to have to click through apps as I'm driving and I would like to have the GPS/Maps AND dashboard both visible simultaneously! The Elio is going to be eye catching enough already...I don't want to guess on my speed!!!

From what I've read on this site, probably from GoofyOne, this screen does not replace the vehicle's dash, it adds to it. So there will be two screens, one for the dash and one that you can scroll through to see all the other wizz-bang stuff.
