Congrats! My oldest is finishing her last year at Centenary. She's the first but not the last. She has three sisters, 15, 13, 5... It seems like I'll never get to retire....
outstanding, congrats to your son and to you guys for standing behind him .... our son has been to 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, 1 year internship in surgery, is in his 4th year of Residency in Radiology and has 1 year of fellowship to go .... he's worked and we've helped when/where we can .... I don't even want to know what his college loans will total when he gets done .... hopefully your son with take full advantage of the monetary support he has earned
Comp, tell your son "Way to Go!" As the mother of an Ivy League Law School Graduate ( Cornell University ) and mother-in-law of a Doctor of Surgery, I can tell you every penny counts in scholarships (the kids are still paying on student loans, 15 years later).
Congratulations, nothing wrong with being proud of your kids. Wear a big smile and your friends will ask you what you're so happy about, then you can tell them.
