anyone planning to travel I-75 in Tennessee in the next couple of months would be wise to check out this report

WHOA!! That's the route we always take down to Florida! What a mess that has to be to keep traffic flowing (rerouting).

Looking at it reminded me of a similar slide that also happened in TN. Not sure how quickly the one Jim posted happened, but this one came down FAST!

This is just 20 miles north of me (I live at exit 122). I have a coworker that goes to KY every Friday to visit family.She said it added about an hour to the trip. The bad thing is the detour is narrow, winding roads. She took this picture of a semi trailer about to slide off an enbankment this past Friday.

Yikes! Not good! Yep, all it takes is someone to have a momentary lapse of concentration while they're driving and nobody's going anywhere.

While Google shows no traffic for that section of freeway, the 2012 landslide in the first post looks to have been repaired:
