I would think that "lit up" green means that there are new posts that you haven't read. When you create a post, the system already knows that it isn't new to you. New posts are bolded too.

But not all new posts are bolded. I'm fairly certain of that because certain peoples posts are bolded while others are not. :-) Z

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly how it works. But if I haven't read new posts in a thread, it is usually bold with a diamond

I 'm not sure but maybe Jeff is referring to the little green triangle to the top/left of the avatar. If the person is online the green triangle is there--otherwise it is not.

This is probably answered somewhere out there but I can't find it. Under the regions threads some of the eo "avatars" are green and some are grey. Can you tell me why? I know this is real trivial stuff here, but my mind wonders a lot. View attachment 2719
