Projected First Model

Hi again folks,
I do not know if it has been said before; but I am just a bit curious what the first production run's model might be. I have heard of P2, P3, P4 and P5.... then also vaguely "E series". But when they start filling reservations, do they already have the official "model designation" picked out?

No model designation has been offered up yet. So far its just "the Elio".

The way Elio has been putting the Elio in italics every time they mention the car makes me think they've already decided on the Elio as the first model's designator.

The Prototypes were P1 through P5.
The Engineering vehicles will be E1 through E25.
Internally, the 100 "pre-production" fleet vehicles are refered to as the S1 through (presumably) S100. These were originally going to be manufactured for internal testing only (ie people within the company) but they decided to sell them to fleet customers instead in order to make money and to show profitability.

We still don't have official word on the final production model name, but it will probably be the Elio.

That really gets me excited. Imagine getting modern sports car performance out of a sub $20k package?
