You should use seat belts in any vehicle with air bags. Air bags target your body wrong if you are not using the seat belt at the time the airbags deploy. I once assisted at an accident where the drivers neck was broken because she slid down under the wheel at impact as the airbag deployed striking her in the face. No seat belt in use.

In my experience, I like the restraints. They protect you from the airbags, and how!
