Take some of the more scenic roads that force changes in engine speed and load settings. I'd be planning a route that included the Natchez Trace, Cherohala Skyway, US129 (Tail of the Dragon), and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Change the oil at the top of the Trace and your engine will be happy.

All of this assumes nice weather. No Cherohala or Dragon in winter!! Oh, and only visit the Dragon Monday-Thursday. That place is nuts on weekends.
