Why not, a V6 and an I3 are the same length front to rear, and they have some small displacement V6's.
Most likely have to change the hood to have a slight (ok, BIG) bump in it so they could mount it upright, or one bank of cylinders the same angle as the IAV motor, and let the opposite side be up into the hood. It would really mess with the aero, but you could probably get 320hp without a turbo.

I'd like them but just for venting... sometimes, even with both windows open in a car, you get that thumping from the air pressure. Opening a rear window even a crack can stop that.

This. For sure. Plus it would help in reducing the chances of the back hatch opening unintentionally while scooting up to 100 mph cuz I'm late for work. Or just goofing around. Take your pick!
