You've never driven through Ferguson, MO I take it. They're just east of a huge stinking landfill (that's has an underground fire that's been burning for quite some time, and contains radioactive material).

Only half kidding. Certain days on the way to work you literally have to hold your breath to keep from gagging (Junction of I-70 and I-270). You can't drive fast enough to outrun the stench

Sorry, didn't read it myself (because it's on the local news every other day here). I should've found a more readable article. Basically, there was a ton of Cold War Era stuff going on up near St. Louis, MO [One site between the two buildings I've worked at for the last 27 years], and proper disposal methods weren't in place.
