MICRO MOBILITY OF SWITZERLAND WANTS TO BRING BACK THE ISETTA .
IF THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL , THE LAUNCH WILL PARALLEL THAT OF THE ELIO .

PERSONALLY , I ALREADY HAVE TWO REAL ISETTAs & HAVE NO INTEREST IN A FAKE ONE .

If it was the BMW Isseta styling or micro city car EV, I may be all in. Swiss not so much as it doesn't look very aero. Looks like the front of my old VW Van.

I'd buy one. It looks cute. But it will never see the light of day on an American highway -- just no way it could pass collision standards, etc.

FWIW, the web page you're linking to has been taken down. It was cached by Webcache on the 13th, and you can find it here.

In short, it's an electric that will have a range of about 40 miles and a top speed of about 45 mph. Strictly in-town driving.

apparently there is something in the market that is stimulating an expansion in the production of low speed, low range, electric vehicles .... thre is going to have to be some major breakthroughs battery technology for them to expand the speed and range while providing lights, heat, AC, etc ....frankly, I hope they all make it but the more companies you have trying to produce a product for a relatively small market segment, the harder it is for them to be successful

IT COULD BE SOLD AS A NEV , NEIGHBORHOOD ELECTRIC VEHICLE .

I PREFER TO STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL CUTE ISETTA
I CAN TAKE IT OUT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD .
