I thought S stood for supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. As long as the S isn't for Stationary.
Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious?I thought S stood for supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Nice drawing and concept. An alternative would be to consider an oval (elliptical) pipe, instead of the OEM round pipe, and then build that into a running board, with a matching one on the other side. This will provide you with both symmetry and the appearance of an integrated functional part, instead of just a bulge with no other purpose than to hide the exhaust. I haven't done the calculations but would guess the change in pressure drop would be negligible.

Elio DragonA while back on this thread I posted an image of a modification to the tail end to allow for a visible "ELIO" name plate. I got to thinking (always a dangerous thing) and it dawned on me.... What kind of Elio? Auto makers don't just produce Fords or Mazdas. They produce Ford Mustangs and Mazda B2500s. The new Elios needs a designation to distinguish them from all the future Elios to follow.
So, two questions need to be answered. What do we call it and how do we mark it? I don't know if I like the name and design shown below but I hope it will get some of you thinking. Let's see if we can come up with a winner of a name. And please, try to resist the joke names, Elio Weeneo is not funny!
NO! Not puppies! It would be friendly if it were the puppy. WAIT! The FRIENDLY (on the budget, on the environment and for it's owners!
For symmetry. And to provide access to the eventual roof rack.A running board/step on the Rt side with no right door?
They should be named after the presidents.
1) Hanson
2) Boudinot
3) Mifflin
4) Lee
5) Gorman
6) St. Clair
7) Griffin
8) Washington
9) Adams
10) Jefferson
etc.
They were all elected as Presidents of the Continental Congress (and thus effectively President of the United States of America) prior to the adoption of our current constitution.I love how the first 7 presidents you mentioned are ones I've never even heard of. I can't be bothered to look them up right now, so I'll just believe you on trust.
