The Real P5 was revealed on schedule. Congratulations Team Elio! The first milestone accomplishment in a very long time. It's a giant baby step with many steps remaining to step across the finish line to the anticipated 2016 production schedule.
The next Milestone is the E- Builds, Testing, and the Marsmallow Production Elio reveal. Hopefully, the additional funding needed to ready the plant and hire workers is in place for a smooth transition to production startup immediately following the production Elio reveal. It would be sad to have a production Elio sitting around waiting for plant tooling and hiring/training workers to build it.
NOTE: It will also be interesting to watch the P5 on the test track to measure it's performance numbers and handling characteristics. The DOE is no doubt eager to see if the P5 validates the claims made on EM's ATVM Loan application. The state of EM is looking more credible at the moment.
