Trailer Hitch

With limited storage space will there be a trailer hitch as an accessory to pull my small cargo trailer that I pull behind my Harley?

If and when I get the Elio, I will make my own hitch for the bike rack to attach to. I have a MIG welder and design vehicle parts for a living. It shouldn't be hard...

Here's another idea. Why not mount the trailer side of a trailer hitch to the rear of an Elio so that when it is hooked up the rear tire is off of the ground. It could then be towed as if it were a trailer behind an SUV or motor home when traveling.

would think one of those square trailer hitches would give you more options. Regular attachment for towing, trailer side attachment for being towed.
I wonder if the Elio being towed like you suggest would have the front end bottoming out though.

I won't need a hitch, but I'll take a baseplate to drag it around behind my motorhome
