Well, it costs them nothing just sitting there, until they need the space for production. But there is no reason they couldn't find something productive to do with it, manufacturing something else or maybe for someone else. Leasing to someone else sure why not, although that would likely involve moving stuff around and fencing off parts of the floor space.

Come to think about it, using it to produce Elio accessories and options is an ah, option.... like Elio authorized trailers and hitches? :-)

COMAU is global, most of the
production equipment, at the plant,
they had their hand in with GM.
What they don't need for EM's production, pretty sure
they'll find a home for it....
